We have a recent addition to our blog. I am a gun enthusiast, and I know there are many of us out there. But finding a place that is reliable to buy and sell our firearms, ammunition and accessories is not always easy. I am a member of gun auction site Gun Broker. It is a great site and they offer excellent service. But when listing things for sell it can really start to cut into the money you make at the end of an auction. Most classified ad sites won’t allow you to list things like firearms and ammuntion, unless you are willing to accept a trade for your item, instead of money.
With that we have decided to launch a classified site of our own, and we will be hosting it on our blog. Just look at the links at the top of the page, and you will see a page called Classifieds. Since today is the launch, there isn’t much activity there. I am hoping that in the coming weeks we can get some of our readers, that means you, to use it and list somethings for sell. As a special we are running for a limited time FREE LISTINGS. The free listings will run for 15 days before expiring, and you can of course upload images to your listings.
If you have something to sell and it is not related to firearms, ammunition or accessories, feel free to list it in the “General” catagory. If you think we need to add additional catagories, not necessarily related to firearms, by all means, leave me a comment and we will do our best to add the catagories. I do ask that you spread the word, we are not going to be doing any huge advertising for this. I just wanted a place for our readers to buy and sell the things we no longer want laying around.
I am also encouraging those of you that are looking to buy a used firearm, to contact the seller and see about arranging a local face to face transaction and avoiding the dreaded FFL fees. Be sure to check back often, and keep taking advantage of the free listings. Once we have 1000 listings completed, we will be removing the free listings, and all listings will have require a fee.
So go ahead and visit our classifieds page and see if there is anything you just can’t live without, or list your item for sale.
